160MM TRAVEL THAT TAMBERS THE TRAIL (S1: 150MM): Even the most travel is useless without the right kinematics, which is why Specialized prioritized them when developing the Stumpjumper EVO design. Using lessons learned from the Enduro’s chassis design and more than 1,000 hours of development work on the trail and in the chassis lab, they have vastly improved uphill pedaling performance while creating a capable, efficient and lively bike that every rider aspires to. In addition, the anti-squat behavior has been increased so that the chassis resists bobbing better. Angular obstacles are now also swallowed better, which means that less speed is lost.
PROGRESSIVE GEOMETRY: The S-Sizing geometry of the Stumpjumper EVO is the most progressive yet. Long, low, slack, a fork with little offset, a steeper seat tube angle – all this makes your ride a better experience. However, different riders have different demands on the bike, which is why the geometry of the Stumpjumper EVO is fully customizable with six different settings. Not only can the bottom bracket height be adjusted by 10 mm, but also the head tube by up to two degrees. If you want to ride a 27.5″ rear wheel in connection with a 29″ front wheel with the EVO – no problem, there is also the perfect setting for this.
