Cube Cross Race C:62 SLX Bike For Sale Online

Experience is often what really counts. That’s why CUBE uses the designs and features that have been tried and tested in races wherever possible. With the new CUBE Cross Race C:62 SLX, for example, these are the extremely elegant lines and the cables that run cleanly inside the frame. The result: our new cyclocross machine for maximum race performance.

A good bike often makes the small but important difference. That’s why CUBE has given the new Cross Race C:62 SLX the legendary Shimano 105 Di2 2×12-speed drivetrain. Their specialty: flawless gear changes with a click on the handlebars, a wide range of gear ratios with small increments and the reliability that Shimano is known and loved for. This means you are as good as certain of the lead in the race. Matching hydraulic disc brakes decelerate the bike in a controlled and safe manner, even in deep mud. Speaking of mud: A Newmen Evolution SL R.32 wheelset and Schwalbe X-One Allround tires offer you exactly the grip and power you need for demanding (racing) tracks. On your marks, get set, go!

FRAME of Cube Cross Race C:62 SLX Bike 2023

CUBE has to admit that they themselves are completely enthusiastic about the Cross Race C:62 frame. Why? Because it comes with many innovations and features from their top cyclocross models. With a semi-integrated saddle clamp, for example, or with cables neatly routed into the frame at the top of the head tube for smooth performance, little maintenance and a clean look. In addition, this high-performance chassis is made of our C:62® carbon material using the Advanced Twin Mold process and sets new standards in terms of cyclocross performance and racing.

    Great bike

The bike itself is great. Put on a different saddle, good pedals and off you go. Since everything was working properly, I’ve been riding the bike every day.

The service from BeatusBikes.com, however, is abysmal.
First of all, I had to take the bike in for service because all the screws had to be tightened to the correct torque and the brakes had to be realigned accordingly. The worst thing was that after about 300km a spoke nipple came loose. Afterwards I noticed that what I thought was a radial runout was actually a lateral runout in the rim from the start. Because the wheel wasn’t centered properly (note the kind of wheelset that is installed here!). A screw in the stem clamp was simply not installed. I would never have seen it myself with my size and luckily a friend recognized it. When I asked why I couldn’t find the tube used by Schwalbe as a replacement, I was first recommended an unsuitable one and then confirmed that it doesn’t actually exist?!
To top it all off, customer support only responds to emails after two weeks (in the live chat, a processing time of one day is given for emails).
In the end, I was forced to follow up by phone or chat every time. I also waited more than a week for the refunds for the services.
My Garmin had a total breakdown and I thought it was cheeky that I should contact Garmin myself. But the seller is responsible here, which is what I ultimately insisted on!

The total time the breakdowns took while I was unable to drive, plus the time that had to be spent on service calls and clarification via email, chat and telephone is absolutely unsatisfactory!
