SCOTT ENDURO BIKES FOR SALE ONLINE
Fun, speed, and spectacular maneuvers! Enduro is a discipline in mountain biking that always manages to combine all types of off-road riding and to make both sporty downhillers and experienced technical specialists happy.
However, the wheels must also be decked out accordingly. They need enough suspension travel to deal with tricky passages or to stand a jump and on the other hand, they should be agile and powerful so that you can easily overcome climbs.
Not an easy task, which the engineers at Scott have taken on with a lot of heart and blood and present a whole package of classy enduro mountain bikes with their Ransom line. The goal: Enthusiasm from the first ride!
THE SCOTT ENDURO – SIMPLY PRECISE UPHILL AND DOWNHILL!
In order to be correspondingly diverse, the decision was made to build the Enduro series with variable wheel sizes. This gives you the choice between 27.5 or 29 inches.
The versatility is further increased by the TwinLoc technology. Here you can adjust the damper, suspension fork, and geometry to the properties you want, regardless of whether you are riding uphill and need maximum drive or want to rely entirely on your suspension travel to overcome the obstacles on the way down.
The super compact frame is also a lot of fun. It offers a good balance of propulsion, agility and comfort, and also absolutely meets the demands of the Enduro sector.
WHY CHOOSE A SCOTT ENDURO BIKE?
Scott doesn’t just build bikes since yesterday. Mountain bikes with the Scott logo have been rolling through the mountains and forests of this world since 1986, and as it is when you have been on the market for over thirty years: you have a lot of know-how with you.
But not only components and frame technology are absolutely state-of-the-art! When it comes to the materials, Scott also relies on the best that its own development team has to offer.
Of course, this includes ultra-light, stiff but just as robust carbon, which has a very positive effect on the descent and ascent characteristics of the bikes. The cheaper variants of the Ransom line are best made of SL aluminum, which in no way needs to hide in comparison to carbon fiber and is a real flatterer for smaller purses.
Of course, this is also reflected in Scott’s Enduro MTBs. As already mentioned, these are called Ransom and in addition to the mentioned advantages in terms of frame technology, you can of course also look forward to great components from RockShox, Fox, Shimano, or SRAM. There are a wide variety of models, so there is something for both professionals and enduro beginners.
In the end, we can only say: We believe that a Scott Enduro could be exactly what you are looking for!
SHOCKS OF THE SCOTT ENDURO BIKES
Scott’s enduro bikes don’t need to hide when it comes to dampers either. Here, without exception, the 36 Float fork from Fox is used.
Depending on the price range, the fork comes with 160 or 170 mm travel.
In the Scott Genius Limited Tuned Edition, the damper even comes with a high-quality and robust Kashima coating. The fork can be lowered for longer uphill phases.
This way you don’t get the feeling that you’re tipping over backward on the mountain due to the large spring deflection.
Fox dampers also work on the rear axle. Sometimes a nude, also with Kashima Coating, or a Float Performance Elite. All dampers and the fork can be adjusted in hardness so that the enduro bike can be set so tight that it rides like a hardtail.
CIRCUIT OF THE SCOTT ENDURO BIKES
When it comes to gears, the Scott Enduro bikes rely on the manufacturer SRAM. Here you use either the 1×11-speed or the 2×10-speed circuits. In addition to the weight savings, you are also offered a sophisticated technology that will take you through the after-work lap, the enduro race, or the alpine cross.
THE SCOTT GENIUS ADVANTAGES AT A GLANCE:
- Stiff Fox “36 Float” suspension forks with spring travel between 160 and 170 mm
- Infinitely lowerable Vario seat posts
- Genius models available with aluminum or carbon frames
- High-quality SRAM circuits with 1×11 or 2×10 gears

- The genius model also available as an e-bike
WHEEL SIZES THAT ARE FUN!
Scott Enduros are offered with either 27.5 inches (650b) or the new 27.5 PLUS size.
The wheels offer a dynamic that is comparable to the good old 26-inch wheels. The 27.5″ wheels are stiffer than, for example, 29″ wheels, which gives them better riding characteristics in the Scott downhill bikes area. 650b wheels are more dynamic in curves and are therefore a lot of fun on technically demanding and winding trails.
The 27.5 + wheels, also known as 27.5″ PLUS, are new to the market. They offer the driver additional comfort because they combine the positive properties of a fat bike tire with the maneuverability of a 650b wheel thanks to their tires that are up to 3.25 inches wide. This ensures even more traction and driving pleasure.
