Focus Atlas 6.7 EQP – Gravel bike for sale 2023
Made to Lose – The new Focus ATLAS gravel bike
The ATLAS is the first gravel bike from Focus. It is the all-rounder that may not get you to your goal the quickest, but will accommodate every idea and every path. It’s as reliable as an old friend and seasoned with a good pinch of trail fun.
Who makes a bike “made to lose”? What sounds absurd can actually make a lot of sense. When appointments and smartphones have a tight grip on us in everyday life, it is more important than ever to find moments in which we can lose ourselves. To enjoy the little things: the ride to the office through the park or the weekend bike ride with friends into nature. With the ATLAS, Focus has built a gravel bike that accompanies you on your adventure.
The Focus ATLAS is a rather long bike: the combination of a longer reach and a short stem gives the bike an extremely smooth ride. The front is relatively high, which gives you safety on descents. To ensure that the ATLAS gravel bike remains maneuverable, the frame comes with extremely short chainstays.
The Focus ATLAS is not designed to win races, set world records or beat your “opponents”. It is “made to lose”. To lose. Not a race. But yourself, losing track of time, switching off from everyday life, relaxing, enjoying, no time pressure. It’s for experiencing nature, having bikepacking adventures, meeting people, just having a great time on the gravel bike.

Highlights
Fully equipped
Leaves nothing to be desired for long travel adventures and commutes: The ATLAS 6.7 EQP is already equipped with a suitable luggage rack, mudguards and stand. The luggage rack is approved for a load of 20 kg; luggage holders with a load of 3 kg each can be mounted on each side of the carbon fork. In addition, a lighting system (StVZO compliant) with a hub dynamo and integrated cable routing ensures that there is always sufficient light.
Extremely large tire clearance
The ATLAS comes with 700c tires and offers up to 47 mm tire width, but is also 650b capable with a tire clearance of up to 51 mm. This gives you a variety of options for equipping your ATLAS for the adventure ahead. At the same time, Road Boost technology ensures high stability through better spoke tension and large tire clearance while keeping the chainstays short. So whatever you want to do, the ATLAS will take you there – even to the ends of the world.
Comfort and control on all roads
Whether bad weather, demanding surfaces, steep climbs or long distances – the robust and comfortable gravel bike offers full control thanks to an adapted frame geometry, wide handlebars with flare and disc brakes. The tidy cockpit with CIS cable routing from the handlebars directly into the headset also ensures that a handlebar bag can be easily attached. So that you can conquer all mountains even with luggage, the Shimano GRX Gravel groupset has a super comfortable gear ratio for everyone.
Technologies
Cockpit Integration Solution | CIS
The Focus Cockpit Integration Solution (CIS) delivers the first functioning stem with internal cable routing for mechanical shifting. All cables run on the handlebars into the stem and through the headset into the frame. For optimal shifting and braking quality, Focus has chosen the bending radius so large that all cables run smoothly.
Road Boost
Thanks to the wider ROAD BOOST hubs and the slight offset of the cassette, the chain line runs perfectly again. At the same time, the wider hubs ensure greater rigidity of the wheels and thus reliable driving characteristics and high durability.
