Watch out

I just received my Haibike Trekking 7 Mid and it seems like a nice bike overall, HOWEVER- My Haibike Trekking 7 Mid was delivered with Schwalbe Smart Sam tires instead of WTB Riddlers! This is a noticeable downgrade, at least in price and quality, not to mention tread design. I am aware that substitutions are sometimes made, but never would have thought it would be to swap to half price tires!

I contacted Beatusbikes.com and they told me that they weren’t going to change the product specifications, because the WTB Riddlers ARE SUPPOSED TO COME ON THE BIKE, and they apologizes that they are not on mine.

The End, no way to resolve my problem, no offer to partial refund, or store credit, or to send me the correct tires. Nada, just a, Hey, I know you just spent €3,500 on a bike with us, oh and you didn’t get the tires shown on the page and listed in the specifications, too bad, so sad. Have a nice day…

Needless to say, I might buy a Haibike again, but I sure won’t be making any more purchases from beatusbikes.com

Great customer service

Bike had minor issue with gear shift upon receipt. Customer service worked with me to get it fixed at local bike shop. Great Bike.

Great bike

Very good value and pricing compared to other retail brands. Excellent packaging and quick order processing/shipment. However, I have concerns that no spare parts are available through Beatusbikes.com and of course how are any repairs accomplished with the online purchase model.

Great bike - quick delivery

I was looking for a commuter bike when I came across the Haibike Trekking 7.
Being tall, I liked the fact that a large frame was available. The bike was delivered in a timely fashion and the quality of the bike is quite high.
My ride to work has been quite enjoyable since.

Great bike

Very happy with the whole purchase, as a buyer of 4 previous bikes from Beatusbikes.com Netherlands this purchase was no different. Very easy checkout, arrived well within a week and packaged as well as ever. The bike is great and looks better in person than in the photos. Only adjustment that needed to be made was some brake rub which happens pretty much everytime you refit a wheel with disk brakes anyway. The gears shifted perfectly and very crisp. Have done about 150km riding in town and commuting to work and the shops with no issues and not one flat (which is rare in our town). I bought this bike to turn into an adventure type bike for some planned bike packing trips.

Good quality vs poor supply chain

The quality of the Bike is great but the supply chain and customer service is terrible. Customers need to get true and reliable updates and not ignoring them. I won’t buy a product online like this any more 😡

Easy process. Good value bike

Ordered on a weekend and the bike arrived in Stockholm on a Thursday. The bike was well set up with no need to adjust brakes or gears. Good value and I would purchase again.

Kind of a hassel

The shipping on my new Haibike Trekking 7 Mid came about 5 days early. That’s certainly nice but it also left me scrambling to make sure I could accept the shipment.

I just happened to check on my order online, as I was getting very excited for my new bike, and found out it was being delivered that day! I received no emails alerting me of when it was going to be delivered or even when it left their warehouse.

As the delivery driver was hauling the box to my place, he was carrying the very large box on his shoulder, for some reason, and not using the built-in handles on the box. He then drops the box from shoulder height right in front of me. I was unsure if I was even supposed to accept the package at that point. I don’t know anything about bikes so I could only give all of the parts a once-over to make sure nothing was damaged.

After I assembled the bike, which was pretty easy, I walked the bike to a gas station to put air in the tyres. The front tyre is completely flat and won’t fill up. I already knew there was a good-sized project associated with putting this bike together but now there’s a second project of putting a new tube is this front tire. I just want to ride my new bike.

I’m sure the Haibike Trekking 7 Mid is a nice bike. Its seems nicer than my last bike, and lighter, too. But I have really no way of knowing as I don’t know when I’ll be able to put a new tube in. They only give a 30 days window for returns, so I’m going to have to scramble again to buy and install a new tube, then do my best to test out the bike to make sure there is no damage from shipping and from dropping.

Solid, elegant, allround bike

This is a great bike; it is solid, simple, and very well-made. I am sure to get years out of this bike. It looks good too. It’s a lot more mountain bike than I expected and rides like a mountain bike with the forward-leaning frame. It’s a true hybrid, I have only ridden it through inner-city Edinburgh so-far, but I’m sure it will be just as home in the bush.

Perfect experience

Always sceptical of a site where every review gives 5 stars, but honestly, the experience was faultless! Ordered Friday, processed and sent the same day, delivered Tuesday. Bike was packaged perfectly, plus it was already assembled. The bike itself is fantastic value for the price, great as is, but a great option if you hope to modify in future.

Great bike

I am never too sure if I can trust an item with so many 5 star reviews. It can come across as a little fishy… But after buying this bike a few weeks ago and having it arrive the next day and be everything it was advertised to be I can confidently say I have no regrets and am loving this bike.

It arrived at my work well packed, and partly assembled. I was able to put it together and ride it home that afternoon.

Out of the box, the bike feels solid and well put together. Makes me want to ride it hard, jump off kerbs and take short cuts through whatever unsealed surface I can find.

I purchased this bike as a budget base for some dirt and gravel touring and have already started to kit it out.
Tyre clearance is good.

Rode the bike first time today. First time having a good bike that wasn’t purchased at a box store. Quiet ride, gears were smooth and even the seat was pretty comfortable. I’m not a bike expert but so far I am very happy with my purchase
